Our Organization
The Marion Community Development Corporation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that supports positive neighborhood transformation and revitalization in Marion, North Carolina. Our annual budget is supported through a variety of contributions from governments, foundations, corporations, and individual donations, as well as income earned from lending activities.
We also work with partner agencies, organizations, businesses, and individuals to leverage our resources to achieve a far greater impact. Through our collaborative efforts we strive to achieve the following outcomes:
- Expand access to safe and affordable housing;
- Increase local employment opportunities;
- Improve personal financial health and wellness; and
- Stimulate local economic activity.
Our Goals
Our goal is to strengthen the physical, social, and economic fabric of our community and empower residents to take control of their own personal growth. We can not achieve this alone – it takes a community!
